Let US celebrate!
An incredible half year since President Trump's inauguration
I should not even have to write this, but I do, because all too many people dealing with politics are obsessively focusing on the negative, as they perceive it, if they are honestly acting in good faith to begin with.
Which the woke right are not, necessarily. How they are framing President Trump and his administration, with lots of ignorant stupidity and insidious slander, makes them look like suffering from TDS, and they portrait Trump basically in the same way as the leftist establishment types have done, as I’ve already said before: in their world view, including as expressed by “memes”, often aka vulgar demeaning depictions, the President is basically psychologically deficient, fundamentally ignorant, not a true champion of the nation and what it stands for.
Ironically, the fact that the woke right “influencer” types have now so visibly clashed with 45/47 and he has practically divorced them in an explosive “Truth”, may actually help him to pursue his course to MAGA – make America great again. They wanted to assert control over the Presidential agenda, but they have been strongly rebuked, to say the least. The clarity coming with this is to be appreciated. The woke right are not genuinely MAGA, and they are not pulling the strings. Who is pulling theirs, is open to speculation.
His “past” supporters who now oppose and undermine him, supposedly based on how he reacts to the “Epstein case”,
are not justified to claim to want to make America “great” again.
Their demands are fundamentally isolationist abroad and viciously intolerant, even bigoted and racist, at home.
On both counts they are also extremists, not allowing for much nuance, or a sense of “live and let live”. They lack any sense of proportion, and proper priorities.
All of which makes them estranged from the core tenet of pursuing policies of “common sense”, a concept that President Trump has embraced a long time ago and that might characterize his style and approach at least as much as the MAGA moniker.
And here’s why the woke right don’t understand how to make America “great”:
A smallish country like Switzerland, traditionally neutral and partly hidden behind and nestled within the intimidating mountain ranges of the Alps, could be considered great in many regards, e.g. for having very high GOP per capita, also a legendarily high-functionality railway system, up to the highest mountain tops, and being respected and adored by people all over the world.
In contrast, America, the biggest power on the planet, and “God’s own country”, one defined by its unique exceptionalism, and after the history in which the nation has engaged and the course of which has been mightily changed by it, would practically defy its greatness, look little and scared, inviting to be belittled – if it left the outside world alone and shut itself completely off.
Equally, the “American way of life”, in the exuberant spirits of the early 1960s, the time of JFK, which is basically the point of reference for the “again” in MAGA, as JFK’s nephew RFK jr. has famously acknowledged back when he teamed up with DJT in the summer of 2024, does not rhyme with the religiously bigoted cultural mindset of the woke right, just as it has been denounced and destroyed by the woke left.
In the minds of the explicitly (reactionary) traditionalist voices on the woke right, the VP of the US should not be married to a woman from India. They don’t say it, especially not those who seem to believe that JD would be the better President, and should replace DJT as rapidly as possible. But they must prefer a blond Karen, just as they demand that not 1 non-citizen must be tolerated in the whole country. Foreigners bad, totally.
It seems they don’t get the irony with President Trump’s father having been born to German parents and his mom coming from Scotland. It’s beyond ridiculous.
Getting things done, is what counts
The TDS coming from both the left and the self-appointed right is based on a distorted image of Donald J. Trump as a person. The left portrait him as dangerously radical, almost Hitler reincarnate. The right broadly want to make him into that, a sword-wielding warrior taking no prisoners. (Which makes it easier for the left to perpetuate their lies!) But that is not who he is.
President Trump is not radical, on substance. His common sense mindset is close and deeply connected to the real life world (and the people in it!) in which he has so successfully built a real estate empire, and more.
He has high ambitions, but he also knows how to be very practical. Thinking BIG, all the time, transcending conventional wisdom, but still within reason and implementability. Innovative, but never utopian.
He is fundamentally non-ideological, and has a deep understanding of how the world really works, and the people in it. No intellectual pretense, whatsoever. It’s not “just intuition” though, his knowledge base is enormous.
He has strong moral principles and acts accordingly, but incredibly tolerant and open-minded at the same time. He personifies the “big tent” idea, as it were.
He is egalitarian (in the sense of the Declaration’s “created equal”) in that he deals with equal empathy and human warmth for the waitress, the steel worker, the fellow billionaire or a foreign dignitary. Totally colorblind, too. While also embracing merit and achievement, which shows in his appreciation for top athletes across all sports.
What might look radical with his action on the political stage is merely a reflection both of of the radical totalitarianism that he has pledged to fight, on substance, and the radical action against him taken by the corrupt regime before him, including the law fare and the assassination attempt.
Of course, the former “apprentice” celebrity has radically changed the political scene and rules, e.g. by calling some of his detractors names and exposing their hypocrisies and more importantly lies with hilarious social media postings, bluntly defying “political correctness” in the process. But it’s only “radical” as compared to the corrupt manners of DC and the “elite” circles – in the real world, being honest and outspoken if need be, is normal, and it was already in the view of contemporaries of the original American Revolution, who understood the settlers to be pretty rough-edged people not caring much for decorum. But good in their hearts, God-fearing.
“Radical” Trump is a projection from the deranged left. The woke right blame him for being a sell-out or fraud, on the other side. What they don’t acknowledge is this:
President Trump is extremely pragmatist (and a professional), but without compromising on his core agenda. One tiny part of this pragmatist approach, on the level of political tactics in the swamp, is his alliance with Senator Lindsay Graham, a constant source of outrage against the “neocons” and all things “RINO”. Only without that sort of cooperation with inside figures who may not be truly MAGA at heart, only opportunistically playing ball with Trump, how would the President achieve his legislative agenda, with narrow margins in both chambers of Congress?
But achieve he did, not least with the “big beautiful bill”, importantly one (1) comprehensive bill. So many parts in it are historically outstanding to begin with, but the sheer number of issues dealt with and the rapidity of the law-making elevate the whole thing to still much higher levels.
It is also trademark Trump in terms of “promises made – promises kept”. The bill became possible because it is based on the vast catalogue of ambitious campaign promises, the official MAGA agenda. Lawmakers on Capitol understand that it would be seen as betrayal if they blocked it at the delivery stage. (Well, Thomas Massie the self-important pontificating grand-stander doesn’t understand it, but he may well be out of the game shortly.)
Also, there is a sense of a historical moment and opportunity, under the leadership of Donald J. Trump, who is the second President only with two non-consecutive terms, and the only President who has, presumably, with very high plausibility, if not near-forensic clarity, won three elections to that same office – other than FDR, obviously. Without the Trump momentum, the GOP would not control the House, that’s for sure.
Even the less-than-enthusiastically-MAGA types are rising to the occasion, as it were, show “esprit-de-corps” and are proud to be part of this team effort, and thus behave like true patriots.
How is this not a dream-come-true?
Building on insights, knowledge and experience from his first term, and based on his unprecedented win on November 5th, President Trump has been able to implement the MAGA agenda with record speed, and momentum. And the strategic, historic turn-around is only just beginning.
This is truly a mind-boggling success story, and deserves to be celebrated, as a milestone in time.
The corrupt globalist agenda has been stopped in its track and much of it reversed already, and not only to some previous status quo level. There’s a sense of forward, true progress, a golden age.
The invasion at the Southern Border has been upended … not just mostly, or significantly, but entirely. Crime has already been cracked down upon all over the country, and is tangibly receding.
Massive tax cuts have been secured with the BBB signed into law on July 4th, just as massive funding for the deportation of millions of illegal aliens.
Massive regulation cuts are underway, permits for new infrastructure take only weeks, instead of many years – another corner stone much needed.
Energy dominance is being secured again, and with breakneck speed, too.
The green new scam subsidy schemes have been stopped and strongly reduced, fraud and waste in government spending has been and keeps being addressed, the “USAID” corruption via “NGO” scams has been eradicated, just as the far-left agitprop entities of “public radio” paid for with tax dollars.
AI and crypto are no longer being sabotaged, but massively supported.
Trillions of investment coming in from all over the world.
Inflation has been brought down equally in record time, real wages are rising and for the first time, many new jobs go to America-born citizens.
Education goes back from the bloated ideological federal bureaucracies to the states, and school choice is gaining ground.
On the truly exciting “MAHA” front, RFK jr. is cleaning up the mess, and setting new rules for Big Pharma, also addressing the food problem. The WHO is out of the game.
“Woke” as in “transgender for children”, “men competing in women’s sport” etc., has been eradicated and put in the dustbin of history.
Did I mention he actually pardoned all J6 hostages, and more?

… and on the world stage, too
It is so easy to make such a list, from the top of one’s head. Not so easy to understand why there is no wide-spread jubilation going on within the ranks of the self-appointed “MAGA base” on the internet. (Do they really believe that all of that above is worth dismissing, because “Epstein files”? They must be kidding. But they aren’t, it’s more nefarious.)
Especially since the list above isn’t remotely comprehensive.
President Trump and his truly remarkable team, on cabinet levels and below, have also set a completely new tone on the world stage and achieved near-impossible success already.
The team effort of the US under Trump and Israel under Netanyahu, eliminating the nuclear and other military threats from Iran, the rogue bully of the Middle East, and the strong alliance with the moderate Arab nations in the region, that alone can enable a stunning transformation, building on the “Abraham Accords”, but bringing it all to entirely new levels. That comes after decades and decades of complete and utter failure of the establishment and its conventional “wisdom”, which has really been foolish, and wildly corrupt.
The US has also practically stopped the flow of money into the Ukraine war; with the latest move of the WH, the European partners in NATO have to pay each and every penny for more weapons, and they have to step up their alliance payments in general at last, roughly equalizing with what America is spending. And they are not even complaining any longer, only someone had to ask them in convincing enough a tone.
Also, there is no more talking about defeating Russia, and no open siding with Ukraine. To the contrary, President Trump is perfectly equivocating and practically demanding from Ukraine to live with massive loss of territory. Whereas the former regime looked like they were eager to wage nuclear war.
But the woke right will still complain that there is no change of course, at all.
They want America to unilaterally withdraw, because “not our war”. Well, actually, the war has been instigated and enabled by non other than the American government, only the previous one. Different occupant in the WH, but same country. You cannot simply say “sorry, but we got nothing to do with it”. Also, it’s imperative to end the war, and on terms that open up opportunities for further development of relations, including with Russia. Simply and naively withdrawing unilaterally would not necessarily help with that. A problem does not go away just because you turn your back, and on a scene where you have future interests, too.
The pretend “America First” advocates on the woke right simply ignore the fact that each piece of power vacuum around the planet will be seized by the CCP kleptocracy. The world needs America to keep China, this tyrannically ruled China, in check.
That includes on the domestic front, by stopping the Fentanyl mass murder, which it practically is, and by getting back control over real estate, academia, media and more.
The center piece is world trade though.
The Trump reciprocal tariff regime is meant to reduce CCP influence world-wide, not only reversing the selling-out of American economy to Peking, devastating fly-over country for decades, prompting one JD Vance to write his “hillbilly elegy”, which made him famous and earned him the VP position in the end.
The brilliance of the global trade and tariff policies lies in the fact that it is aimed at the CCP without making it all look like open conflict aimed at the secondary world power. Also, the other rogue actors in world trade, not least the EU countries, absolutely deserve to be forced into fair trade at last, instead of taking advantage of America in shameless ways.
This set of actions alone would secure President Trump a prominent place in history books to come, because it strongly re-defines global interaction and hierarchies, and for the good of mankind, too. While it still is the most central building block for an “America First” agenda. It is not mutually exclusive, and President Trump understands that, contrary to his detractors.
Why is not mutually exclusive? Because it is not a zero-sum game.
A fair competition between nations on the world stage can benefit all participants, just as capitalism within a nation does. Has something to do with the positive effects of competition itself, incentivizing innovation and entrepreneurship, bringing about efficiency and general welfare.
The solution is not more government and yet another scheme for re-distribution (which almost always also serves towards the self-enrichment of the ruling class). Rather, it’s about becoming more efficient, more ambitious, and GROWING the whole cake, as it were. It is true domestically, where the debt burden and deficit must be defeated by economic success and growth, and the same applies basically on the world stage.
For instance, Germany taking advantage of the US with a huge export surplus, that is not good, it amounts to re-distribution by unfair means. But Germany should learn from President Trump and let go of their self-destructive “net zero” policies that ruin everything, and drive the biggest EU economy into recession. Instead, enable economic growth again, and efficient manufacturing. On the margins, people may disagree with a certain tariff rate for a certain foreign country, and specific rules set by the Trump administration, and in the end by the man in person. But in general, the world has already come to acknowledge that there has been not much fairness and it’s not been a sustainable path. While they do not have much of a choice either, they can offer little in terms of legitimate arguments.
In the end they also understand that the world needs a strong America, not a weakened one, a failing nation in utter decline, as under the DemonRat regime. Which was the result of what the corrupt globalist cabal wanted, in bed with the CCP, for all practical intents and purposes.
This globalist cabal still rules the rest of the Anglosphere, and the EU. It is in the strategic interest, and crucial for an America returned to proper self-government, that it gets defeated globally and for good, or else it may hibernate abroad and come back. But it cannot be defeated by an isolated America, only by an America that engages on the world stage. Should not be all that difficult to understand. Besides, to fight immoral evil befalling befriended nations and peoples might be considered the right thing to do even outside of a more narrowly defined own best interest.
The best is yet to come
And it still is only half a year into the 2nd Trump term. Consider how “Liberation Day” via reciprocal tariffs happened only a little over 3 months ago, and with the start of August, much of the policy set has already been put in place. When “normally”, negotiations with some countries would have dragged on for many months, and years, and with less than promising outcomes.
That’s what you get with DJT in the WH at the helm. It is beyond astounding. By putting massive pressure on situations at hand, and acting with urgency, only allowing for short time frames, he’s getting done much more than otherwise possible. More ambition – and more “art of the deal” – produces more success. Who would have thought.
But while this may sound like an explanation for the unprecedented list of achievements, and partly it may be, what is happening with Trump 2.0 defies understanding.
His team is part of the explanation, with brilliant patriots like Scott Bessent, Marco Rubio, RFK jr., Tulsi Gabbard, David Sacks, Pete Hegseth and so many more.
But then again, how do you assemble such an all-star team in the first place, and make them interact and cooperate in such a beautiful manner, and then how do you make that work with Congress as well, and secure the needed confirmations in record-setting time frames, and all of the legislation, too?
One of the commander-in-chief’s not-so-secret although totally overlooked trademark principles is his constant outpouring of gratitude for everybody’s contribution and support. He is going out of his way, all the time, thanking his team members and outside partners alike. While he certainly is not a shy person, including about his own achievements, and why would he, too … he has made being generous and grateful to everyone almost into an art form. (Watch the video above with GOP Senators.)
I’m essentially in total awe with all of this, I’m deeply grateful, too, and in the end, with all the stunning relatability of that man, and his constant transparent acting and communicating, while I seem to understand what he’s doing and why, it is still incomprehensible that one human being can actually do all of this.
After what he’s been through, since 2015, too. It borders on the miraculous. He seems to have super powers, or maybe he is a wizard. Who can make 72 hours out of 24 per day, something like that. While just being three times as fast as everybody else still doesn’t quite explain the whole thing.
And with half a year into his 2nd term, so much more is yet to come. The sky is the limit. For instance, America might have a balanced budget, in no time flat. It can happen.
When the deportations succeed, that will not only make life for American citizens great again, across many policy fields, between jobs and communities, housing, schools and health care. It would also serve as an example for the other Western nations invaded by immigrants from shithole countries and destroying their social fabric with non-compatible cultures, manners and behavior.
Re-migration can be done, just as
re-industrialization is actually happening, thanks to the bold Trump agenda, which is the same as the MAGA agenda, make no mistake about that.
What I’m going to conclude with, every decent patriot in America, but not just there, should keep thinking and saying each and every single day:
